Service Advisor required at a Main Car Dealership in the Bishop's Stortford area! 

Our client, based in Bishop's Stortford is currently looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their team at their busy main car dealership. They are rated top 3 in motor vehicles in the UK and offer plenty of opportunities for progression within the brand, should the right candidate show promise and ability the correct training will be offered to make this a possibility.

Details and Benefits of this Service Advisor vacancy include: 
  • £2,000 joining bonus *paid half in your first month and the other in your 6th month of being part of the company*
  • Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm.
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays worked 8:00am-12:00pm.
  • £30,000 basic salary with a £36,000 OTE potential.
  • Enhanced holiday, increasing with time served.
  • Specific Brand training provided.
The ideal candidate will have a Service Advisor background along with the ability to work on their own initiative and bring energy into the office. Previous experience with systems such as Kerridge and ADP would be a great advantage to have.

Day to day features of this Service Advisor role include: 
  • Booking MOTS, services, and repair work for customers.
  • Advising customers about their warranty cover. 
  • Upselling parts and accessories that will be of benefit to customers. 
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and maintain communication throughout the duration of their car being in the garage. 
Being a team player is essential for this role along with a passion for delivering a top tier customer service to ensure the best experience and returning customers. 

As a business it is strongly believed that providing their staff with specific brand training along with courses such as management training are key for career progression and offer this to staff to encourage and celebrate career progression and success at all levels.
