- Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 basic + Bonuses
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends)
- Bonus Structure: Paid on hourly rate, starting at 70% efficiency
- Optional Overtime: Saturdays available at time and a half (No expectation to work weekends)
- Holiday: 21 days + bank holidays (increases over time)
Key Responsibilities as a Diagnostic Technician:
- Diagnostics & Triage: Identify issues efficiently and determine whether to fix the vehicle yourself or delegate the repair, ensuring sign-off.
- Mechanical & Electrical Repairs: Carry out high-quality repairs and servicing to manufacturer standards.
- Efficient Work Practice: Maintain high productivity and efficiency, ensuring vehicles are diagnosed and repaired promptly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.
- Manufacturer Training: Stay up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and diagnostic procedures.

- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Strong diagnostic skills with experience in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

- Previous experience in a franchised dealership preferred but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence.
