  • Basic salary of up to c. £28,000 per annum with an OTE of £50,000+ per annum
  • Working Hours Monday - Friday 8.30-6.00pm (flexibility depending on need)

  • Experience of HGV sales would be great, although due to the trainee nature of this role, direct experience is not necessary, as long as you have worked in the automotive sector.
  • You might have HGV experience in a different role, or sales experience elsewhere in the motor trade; our client will provide the necessary training.
Our client, a commercial vehicle dealership in Derby, is currently looking to recruit a Trainee Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive!

Although this is a trainee role, you must have experience of the automotive sector.

As a Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive you will be required to sell new commercial vehicles and will also have access to used stock. Further to this, your role will also involve selling vehicle finance, insurance, and various other associated products and services with the aim of reaching and exceeding sales targets. You will be required to keep customers informed of delivery progress and advice customers of any delays that may progress. You will be required to resolve any queries which may arise and collect payment from customers before releasing the vehicle. You must explain warranties, service arrangements, introduce the customer to the Aftersales Department where possible and demonstrate the features of the vehicle and offer any other support that may be required.

You will also be expected to help out in all areas of the business when required to do so.

In order to be eligible, you must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Derby or Nottingham. Overall you will need to be a quick learner, have excellent customer service skills, a positive and helpful attitude, and the drive, energy and commitment to seek every sales opportunity. A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential.
