We are seeking a skilled and motivated Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Technician to join our client’s dynamic team. They are a successful franchise dealer with an outstanding reputation. As an LCV Technician, no two days are the same! Your role will involve diagnosing and repairing light commercial vehicles, conducting maintenance tasks, and ensuring all vehicles are safe and roadworthy. You'll use your technical expertise to troubleshoot faults, inspect components, and complete thorough service records. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with a supportive team and may have opportunities to interact with customers, keeping them informed about repairs and services. This dynamic Vehicle Technician role offers variety, challenges, and the chance to make a real difference in keeping vehicles on the road.

Key Benefits and Information for this Light Commercial Vehicle Technician Vacancy:
  • Basic salary up to £41,000 p.a. with OTE potentials of up to £49,600!

The ideal LCV Technician is an experienced LCV Technician with relevant qualifications, strong diagnostic skills, and a focus on safety and quality. You will be team-oriented, communicate effectively, and bring a proactive, detail-driven approach to your work. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

What will your day look like as a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician?
  • Perform diagnostics to identify faults in light commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre replacements.
  • Repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems as needed.
  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work completed.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and workshop procedures.
  • Use specialised tools and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
