Mobile Trailer Technician needed to cover the Gateshead Area
  • Basic salary of up to c.£38,000.
  • Optional overtime available.
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:30pm).
  • Our client is seeking applications from experienced with high levels of technical training Truck & trailer and relevant Qualifications.
  • The opportunity to work for a nationally renowned HGV leasing business and repair trucks and trailers of all types and sizes on a Mobile basis
Our client, a well established truck and trailer leasing specialist, is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician to join their team in the Gateshead area. You will be part of a team of technicians who specialise in the repairs and maintenance of HGV Trailers on a mobile basis and will be provided with industry lead training.

You will need to be confident and competent in Trailer repairs, preferably with several years experience in the field as this role includes completing jobs independently and away from site.

What will the successful Mobile Trailer Technician do?
  • Perform repairs of different natures on a mobile basis 
  • Perform detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers, maintaining the highest standards of safety and functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems
  • Inspect for wear and tears/general faults.
  • Complete work to DVSA standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform all other aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required.
The successful Mobile Trailer Technician will have
  • A Level 3 NVQ Qualification in HGV Mechanics.
  • Current experience as a HGV Technician.
  • Full UK Driving License with HGV Class 1 driving licence desirable.
  • An ability to meet deadlines.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • Experience in Welding, training with axels, tail lift training and experience is desirable.
The successful Mobile Trailer Technician will get
