Vehicle Technician Needed in York
  • Basic salary up to c. £37,000
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00 
  • No weekends required 
  • Level 3 qualification is preferred

Our client is looking for an experienced Technician, to join their independent garage. Your salary will be dependent on your experience and qualifications.

Due to the success of the business, they are currently in the process of expanding and keep going from strength to strength!

What is Required of the Vehicle Technician?
  • Level 3 qualification is preferred or equivalent skill level
  • Experience as a Technician is a must
  • Diagnostic experience is also preferred and prestige brand experience will be advantageous 
  • They are looking for someone with a fun-loving personality, that can fit into the small group of Technicians who are already there
What is expected of the Vehicle Technician?
  • Work to the best of your ability, using the skills you have learnt through your time in trade
  • Customer satisfaction is a must for this business, a lot of their clients are through word of mouth, so you must make sure the customer is kept informed throughout the process 
  • Depending on your skill set, you may be required to do diagnostic works and interpret this to your colleagues 
  • Team work... As a small team, you will need to pull together to make sure work is carried out as efficiently as possible
  • Communication is key - this will be communicating with your colleagues, customers and management to ensure that everything is running smoothly in the workshop
