Key Responsibilities for the Workshop Controller:
- Supervise the workshop team to maintain quality, efficiency, and profitability
- Manage workshop operations, ensuring productivity and compliance with technical systems
- Provide expert fault diagnosis and technical support
- Ensure first-time fix rates meet customer satisfaction targets
- Maintain accurate job cards and ensure all chargeable labour is recorded
- Support and develop team members to enhance overall workshop performance
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Extensive experience within a franchised dealership
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong customer service & communication skills
- IT-literate with experience in diagnostic equipment & workshop systems
- Organised, detail-oriented, and motivated to succeed
