Night shift PDI / Prep Technician
  • Location: Blackburn Area
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, flexible start between 6pm-8pm (45 hours per week)
  • Salary: £40,000 + overtime & bonus (£50,000 OTE)
Our client, a well-established, family-run Accident Repair & Service Centre group, is seeking an experienced Night shift PDI / Prep Technician to join their growing team at their brand-new facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected business that values its employees and provides excellent career growth prospects.

Key Responsibilities of the Prep Technician:
  • Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and vehicle preparation to a high standard.
  • Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, primarily LCVs (Light Commercial Vehicles).
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within set deadlines before the day shift begins.
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety and adhere to company procedures.
  • Work independently during night shifts while ensuring excellent attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a PDI / Prep Technician or in a similar vehicle repair role.
  • Strong knowledge of LCV maintenance and repair processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently during night shifts and meet strict deadlines.
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent) is preferred.
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous.
