- Working Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30am to 6pm), plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am - 12:30pm)
- Salary: Up to £40,600 OTE (Basic salary between £30,000 to £32,000, plus uncapped bonus of £6,600 and an additional £2,000 for EV qualification!)
Key Responsibilities for a Service Technician / MOT Tester:
- Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
- Perform vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
- Conduct additional repairs as authorised by the customer
- Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines, ensuring relevant write-up is complete
- Take vehicles out on road tests to ensure faults are rectified
- Complete all necessary paperwork to a high standard
- Conduct MOT tests in line with Ministry of Transport guidelines
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Motor industry experience (brand or non-brand)
- Full and valid UK driving licence
- Willingness to work towards achieving an MOT test certificate (if not already qualified)
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and keen to learn and develop
- Ability to work to and maintain the highest standards in vehicle servicing and repairs
