Our client a Classic Car Engineering Business are currently looking for an experienced Welder and Fabricator to join their engineering team due to expansion.

Ideally the successful Fabricator and Welder you will have enthusiasm for classic cars (pre and post war British heritage but not essential) and be skilled in Fabrication and Mig/Tig welding to a professional standard.

The successful Fabricator and Welder will have a can do, team player mentality and be flexible in their daily approach as no two days will ever be the same in our clients bespoke workshop business! 

Our client operates to Monday to Friday working hours but there maybe some special projects that come up with VIP customers which may require extra hours paid at overtime rate.

The successful Classic Car Fabricator/Welder will have the knowledge and skill set doing: 
  • Read and understand engineering drawings 
  • TIG & MIG Welding to a professional standard
  • Fabrication of various metals, steel, aluminium + various other metals 
  • Lathe work
  • Linishing 
  • Grinding
  • Undertake new & repair work
  • Restoration of vintage components and vehicles
  • Wheel arches and irons
  • Bracketry 
  • Upholstery / Seating
