Vehicle Technician Required in the Haywards Heath area 
  • Salary: Up to £30,000 with year bonus of £7,200 + (This is uncapped!)
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 5.30pm with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings. 
We are currently working with a well-established Automotive Dealership Group covering over 10 sites and representing some the UK's most sought after automotive brands.

They are seeking an Experienced Vehicle Technician to join their expanding Automotive Workshop team within their Car Dealership operation.

They are seeking a Vehicle Technician who has at least 2 years experience within a Main Dealership, or similar environment, to join and support the work of their Service and Workshop department.

This is a crucial role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and career progression they offer set them apart from other Dealerships in their local area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy their working day. They reward highly and put their employees at the forefront of all they do.

Within this Vehicle Technician role, your typical duties will include: 
  • Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturers’ guidelines
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
  • Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs
  • Advising on time estimates
  • Maintaining repair and service records
  • Diagnosing the cause of a problem
  • MOT Testing in line with VOSA standards 
  • Repairing the problem in line with manufacturers’ standards
  • Testing existing and repaired systems
  • Checking for problems in newer vehicles with testing equipment connected to the vehicle’s electronic control unit (ECU).
