Vehicle Technician - Loughborough Main Dealer
  • Job Title: Vehicle Technician.
  • Location: Loughborough Main Dealer.
  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on level) + £6,000 bonus per annum.
  • Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8-hour days).
  • Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays.
  • Overtime available.
Our esteemed client, a well-established main dealer in Loughborough, is looking to expand its team with a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician. With a commitment to excellence in automotive services, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and thriving organisation.

Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment to diagnose complex mechanical and electronic issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, explaining vehicle inspections and findings.
  • Conduct servicing, brake adjustments, and other general vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards within specified timeframes.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and continuously update technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and enhance overall team performance.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • MOT License is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on LCV's is also beneficial
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a similar role.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Effective communication skills with both team members and customers.
  • A valid UK drivers license.
