HGV Technician Job - Bedford
  • Salary up to £22 an hour (£45,760 Basic)
  • Overtime available at 1.5 - 2x rate (up to £44/hour!)
  • Working earlies and lates 06:00am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 11:00pm

My client is a well regarded commercial main dealer in Bedfordshire. They're now looking to take on a qualified HGV Technician to join their state of the art workshop.

Requirement for this HGV Technician vacancy:
  • City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or proven experience working on Heavy Vehicles.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a Technician.
  • Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures, safely and responsibly
  • Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process
  • Able to comply with warranty procedures during repairs and warranty material on completion of each repair
  • MOT preparation, diagnostic work and fault finding, carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes and suspension systems.
As a HGV technician with this company you'll receive: 
  • Salary up to £22 per hour dependent upon experience
  • Overtime @ enhanced 1.5x rate Monday-Saturday and x2 rate on Sunday/bank holiday
