Mobile Commercial Mechanic / On Call Recovery Technician Required in Horsham, West Sussex
  • Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday (week on call, week off on rotation)
  • Pay: £35,360 - £39,780 Basic + Time and 1/3 overtime (x1.33) + 2-hour minimum call-out pay per job outside of hours

Are you an experienced Commercial Mechanic seeking a dynamic and varied role? Our client, an established and successful Commercial Vehicle Repair Company operating for over 10 years, is expanding and looking for a skilled Mobile Commercial Mechanic to join their Mechanical Recovery team based from Horsham. If you are 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site mechanical repairs for Vans, 7.5 Tonne Trucks, and 12 Tonne Trucks.
  • Undertake breakdown recovery services and mobile mechanics duties.
  • Conduct light service work at customer premises.
  • Adhere to scheduled on-call rotations for emergency call-outs.
  • Ensure efficient and effective troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Mechanic, with a focus on Vans and Trucks.
  • Proficient in mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing.
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergency call-outs effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
