Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a team, as a Motorcycle Technician your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, service, and repair as instructed to the standards laid down by our client on customer's motorcycles. You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Workshop Manager as required on motorcycle condition, safety, reliability and performance. As a Motorcycle Technician you will need to ensure that quality procedures relating to the function laid down by our client are adhered to at all times.
In order to be eligible you will ideally be a qualified to NVQ/IMI Level 2 or equivalent in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair however our client is also willing to consider candidates with no formal qualifications that have at least 2 to 3 years practical experience working on motorcycles. You must however hold a UK motorcycle driving license with minimal points, be a committed individual, and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you team. Candidates with an MOT license would be highly advantageous however this is non-essential as training can be provided as long as you have the relevant qualifications.
