Vehicle Technician Required in the Farnham area 

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Basic Dependent on Qualifications and knowledge and skills plus annual incentives offered
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (No Saturdays!) with overtime available at time and half 

We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Specialist Garage who have been operating in their local area for over 10+ successful years. Our client is a friendly, personable and passionate family run Jaguar Land Rover specialist garage in Farnham, Surrey and looking for an additional member to join their workshop team to cope with increased demand from their loyal customer base. Our client boasts 50+ Google reviews with an average rating of 4.9 starts out of 5 and always go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and thus securing customers for life.

They are seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic with at least 2 years’ experience within a Main Dealership, or similar workshop environment, to join and support the work of the other Vehicle Technicians in the workshop. Our client would entertain a Service Mechanic with no brand knowledge but do expect enthusiasm and eagerness to learn the JLR Brand. This is a critical role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offer set them apart from other Automotive specialists in their local area.

Within this Vehicle Technician role your typical duties will include: 
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and maintenance of company and private vehicles as scheduled or required with due regard to quality procedures.
  • Servicing, Clutches, Timing Belts / Chains
  • Comply with health, safety and environmental legislation and policies
  • Vehicle Diagnostics using manufacturer diagnostic tools 
  • Assist with other duties as required
