Vehicle Technician Needed For Main Dealership in Shropshire
  • Location: Shrewsbury
  • Salary: Basic salary circa £32,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30am - 5:30pm (1 in 4 Saturday Mornings)
A very successful family-run and established business is expanding and looking for a Vehicle Technician. The successful candidate will join a friendly team and embark on a long-term career with our company.

Key Responsibilities Working as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Report to the After Sales Manager while working for a Multi Franchise dealership.
  • Maintain our customers' vehicles to the highest standards by carrying out inspections, repairs, and service checks in a busy, fast-paced workshop.
  • Follow Health & Safety regulations.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and up to date.
  • Ideally be a qualified MOT tester; however, we will provide training if necessary.
Skills Required as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Possess an NVQ or City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Service & Repair Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Have experience working as a fully qualified mechanic.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A full clean driving licence.
  • Willingness to attend Manufacturer Training Courses.
