Our client, a multi-franchised main dealer, representing some of the most prestigious automotive brands within the sector is looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy site to contribute to the increased workload in the workshop.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out vehicle services and repairs of cars in accordance with brand technical standards.
  • Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.
  • Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
  • Providing support and mentoring to less experienced colleagues ensuring they are trained and up to date in their skills and knowledge of processes and repairs.
  • Share knowledge and expertise.
  • Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technicians:
  • Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation (Level 2 minimum)
  • Previous work experience in a franchise dealership would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering first class customer service.
  • Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
  • Possession of a full, clean UK driving licence
  • Tools to undertake the duties of a Vehicle Technician
