- Complete MOT tests within allocated time slots and in line with DVSA guidelines
- Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of the vehicles.
- Builds effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Completes repair and service records/other appropriate activities the Team Leader and Manager required.
- Actively supports company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
- Analyse work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Similar – with MOT Testing Licence
- To provide basic tooling and equipment, or be able to purchase own basic tooling and equipment prior to employment
- Ideally an A willingness to learn new skills
- Organisational skills, and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of the motor trade
- Good team player
- Full UK driving licence (Necessity)
