Vehicle Technician required in Preston 
  • Basic Salary up to £37,000 
  • 42.5 hours Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm, plus alternate Saturday mornings (Will consider Part-Time). Can be flexible as branch open 8am-7pm.

Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician  
  • Prepare, service, maintain, and repair various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Utilise your technical expertise to inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components, accurately diagnosing issues with computer-based diagnostic equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and resolve identified defects.
  • Conduct DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
  • Perform road tests to verify repairs and check for faults.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure tools are in good condition.
  • Follow checklists to ensure all procedures are completed thoroughly.
  • Complete all required documentation to the necessary standards.
  • Support other Technicians in the Workshop.

Ideal Candidate for this Vehicle Technician Vacancy will have: 
  • Deadline-driven with top-quality workmanship

  • Uphold excellent housekeeping standards
  • Possess a full UK driving license
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent, or relevant experience required
