Vehicle Technician - Autocentre Nottingham North
  • Basic Salary - Up to £32,000 dependent on experience. 
  • Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30, Saturdays 8:30-4:00 with a half day off per week plus Sundays off. 
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (Good Friday open but day in lieu). 
  • working for one of the UKs most established autocentres with over 50 years of experience. 
Our client is a well renowned and established Autocentre with over 50+ years in the industry. They are currently looking to add an experienced technician with the ability to carry out a full range of jobs. The ideal candidate will be Level 3 qualified, although other skill levels are encouraged to get in touch.

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Performing diagnostic tests and identifying faults in vehicles
  • Competent with cambelts 
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including servicing, brakes, suspension, and engine work
  • Completing work to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Using diagnostic equipment and computer systems to diagnose vehicle problems
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationship
Requirements for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 Diploma / City & Guilds in vehicle mechanics or proven equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of a similar position
  • Full UK Clean Driving Licence (preferably clean)
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
  • Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
  • The ability to work as part of a strong and well-established team
