Vehicle Technician Required in South Croydon
  • Pay: £30 - £38K basic on a full time permanent contract 
  • Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota 
We are currently working with a family run Automotive Garage based in South Croydon who have been trading since the early 1980's. They are fortunate to have a large purpose built and designed workshop from day one; due to retirement of their technician of 30 years they are looking for an additional Vehicle Technician to join their personable, family like workshop team. Our client is proud they are RAC Approved, BMW Performance approved and with over 140 Google reviews with an average of 4.5 starts (out of 5). Due to retirement our client is looking for a new Vehicle Technician to join their stable workshop team. Our client has indicated he would be interested in speaking to Level 3 Service Technicians who want to consume as much automotive industry training all the way up to Diagnostic / Master Technician.

Within this Vehicle Technician role your typical duties will include: 
  • Undertake repairs and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer technical standards.
  • Mechanical and Electrical diagnostics and customers cars 
  • Full examination of customer vehicles including electronic vehicle health checks and forward onto the service advisors to present to the customers
  • Offer technical advice and support to service staff and apprentices in the workshop
  • Work with the wider workshop team to improve efficiency
