Vehicle Technician Required in Crawley
  • Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 Basic (Depending on Experience)
  • Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 6pm, Friday 8am - 5pm. No weekend work!
Our client a Family Run all makes and models car service centre are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their well-established team in Crawley. Operating since 1975, they pride ourselves on offering top-quality service to both cars and motorcycles, including Class 4 MOTs. With a focus on diagnostics and a customer-first approach, their car garage has built a strong reputation within the local community and thrive off repeat custom, year after year.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out a full range of vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics.
  • Working on both cars and motorcycles, ensuring the highest standards of service.
  • Performing Class 4 MOT tests - desirable but not essential 
  • Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical faults using the latest equipment.
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

This role is ideal for an experienced Vehicle Technician who enjoys a varied workload and is looking to move away from the main dealership environment. You will be a key part of a small, dedicated team, and will have the opportunity to take on responsibility while working autonomously.

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role:
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician in a garage or workshop environment.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to carry out complex repairs.
  • MOT Tester qualification for Class 4 vehicles (preferred but not essential).
  • A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
