Our client, a trusted family-run garage offering services for all makes and models, is looking for an enthusiastic Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester to join their team! The garage has been a reliable name in the community for over 40 years and is known for its commitment to high-quality service and employee satisfaction.

Our client has two exciting opportunities:
  • Dedicated MOT Tester (Full-Time or Part-Time)
  • Vehicle Technician Seeking MOT Qualification: If you’re a skilled mechanic interested in becoming an MOT Tester, the company is happy to sponsor your course to help you achieve your MOT Testing License!
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester with our client:
  • Day-to-day vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics
  • Completing MOT fail repairs and maintaining a high standard of service
  • Using up-to-date tools and diagnostic equipment to deliver quality results
Working Hours for the Technician / MOT Tester Role:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a lunch break
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota basis, paid at time-and-a-half
  • Part-time or flexible working options are available; enquire within!
Salary of the Technician / MOT Tester:
  • £26,000 for a recently qualified vehicle mechanic
  • Flexible for dedicated MOT tester
  • Up to £38,000 - £40,000 for a Senior Vehicle Technician
