  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota 
We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Dealership who has been operating in their local area since 1970 and going from strength to strength with a new dealership our client has a unique and not to be missed Car Dealership Workshop Controller opportunity! This client has an excellent reputation in the local area with over 320 Google Reviews with an average of 4.6 stars out of 5 for Sales, Service, Parts and everything between from their customers, new and old! They are seeking an Experienced Workshop Controller who has at least 1 years, experience within a Main Dealership, or  a similar environment, to join and support the work of their Service Department. This is a critical role to the success of the business, as such the commission and rewards they offer set them apart from other Dealerships in their local area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Controller to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy their working day. They reward highly and put their employees at the forefront of all they do. 

Within this Workshop Controller role your typical duties will include: 
  • Customer Satisfaction (CSI): To assist management in implementing and maintaining effective processes to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction levels in excess of the manufacturer national average.
  • Generating Gross Profit: To deliver gross profit in line with the business plan by maximising the number of hours sold, driving revenue per transaction, ensuring 100% adherence to the VHC process and motivating product sales.
  • Workshop Loading: To distribute and control the issue of work to the technicians to maximise quality and overall efficiency.
  • Supervising the Team: To lead, motivate, coach and develop the team to achieve their daily objectives.
  • Parts Liaison: To ensure a strong relationship is maintained with the parts department to maximise parts availability.
  • Documentation Quality: To ensure the accurate completion of all relevant documentation for each repair.
  • Manufacturer Franchise Warranty Standards: To ensure that the manufacturer’s warranty standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Health and Safety: To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy and that general housekeeping and appearance are maintained at a high standard
