Vehicle Technician Required in the Crawley, West Sussex
  • Basic £36,000 DOE + £45,000 OTE
  • Hours: 8.00 – 5.45pm Monday - Friday with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

They are looking for a level 3 Service Vehicle Technician who has at least 2 years automotive workshop experience post apprenticeship to join their expanding team in Crawley. What you lack in skills currently you will make up in with attitude and professionalism. Ideally you will come from a Car Dealership or an Independent car garage background and considered a Qualified Vehicle Technician. Having a MOT License would be advantageous but not essential. This is an important role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offer set them apart from other Car Dealerships in the local area.

Within this Vehicle Technician role your typical duties will include: 
  • Undertake repairs and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer technical standards.
  • Mechanical and Electrical diagnostics and customers cars 
  • Full examination of customer vehicles including electronic vehicle health checks and forward onto the service advisors to present to the customers
  • Offer technical advice and support to service staff and apprentices in the workshop
  • Work with the wider workshop team to improve efficiency
