Service Advisor Required for Family Run Service Centre in Guildford 

Our client a Family Run Automotive Service Centre are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Advisor to join their family-run service centre in Guildford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service, preferably from an independent garage rather than a main dealer. Our client values individuals who are proactive, responsible, and ready to take on the challenges of a dynamic work environment.
  • Location: Guildford 
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday (with breaks) - No Weekends
  • Time Off: If working a Saturday, you will receive time off in lieu during the week - flexible morning or afternoon off

Key Responsibilities as an Automotive Service Advisor:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and advice
  • Schedule and manage service appointments
  • Coordinate with the workshop to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of services
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and expertise
  • Assist in maintaining the smooth operation of the service centre, including keyholder duties when the Manager is not present
Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in automotive service
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to take responsibility and work independently
  • Familiarity with independent service centres preferred
