Our Client, a long-established Main Dealer group with multiple branches across the South & South East of England, are seeking a Vehicle Technician for their branch in Aldershot, Hampshire.

They are a well-respected automotive business, with multiple sites across the Hampshire area, providing a whole range of automotive services.

Duties of a Technician with our Client:
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints.
  • Carry out diagnosis and undertake a wide range of servicing and repair work.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic, and safe servicing and repair of the vehicles.
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Complete repair and service records/other appropriate activities the Team Leader and Manager require.
  • Actively support company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
  • Analyse work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed.
What our Client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
  • MOT License preferred.
  • A willingness to learn new skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Efficiency and timeliness.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the motor trade.
  • Good team player.
  • Full UK driving licence
