Key Responsibilities as an Aftersales Manager:
- Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Advisors. Create a motivated, customer-focused environment that fosters professional growth.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer service, handling complaints and feedback promptly, and aiming to exceed customer expectations to maintain dealership reputation and loyalty.
- Process Optimisation: Implement and oversee processes to improve the department’s efficiency, focusing on productivity, minimising downtime, and ensuring quality in service and repair work.
- Financial Management: Set and monitor financial targets, manage budgets, and analyse profitability. Drive growth in the department through strategic initiatives that align with the dealership’s overall objectives.
- Inventory & Supplier Management: Oversee parts inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure the department has access to the required tools, equipment, and materials to operate effectively.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure the department adheres to brand, dealership, and legal standards, including health and safety protocols, manufacturer guidelines, and quality control.
- Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager in a franchised dealership environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on financial accountability.
- Sound knowledge of the automotive industry, dealership processes, and manufacturer standards.
