- Salary: Up to £28,000 + Bonus (Depending on Experience)
- Working Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
Key Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:
- Providing a proactive service to customers, scheduling their vehicles for service, maintenance, or repair work.
- Managing reception duties, including greeting customers and arranging courtesy vehicles when necessary.
- Liaising closely with the workshop to track work progress and keep customers informed.
- Ordering parts and coordinating with suppliers.
- Supporting marketing initiatives to promote the garage’s services.
- Upselling additional products and services where applicable.
- Proven all-round experience in reception work, marketing, and parts ordering.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential.
- Recent or current experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is advantageous but not required.
- Basic mechanical understanding of vehicles is preferred.
- A competitive salary up to £28,000 per annum, with a bonus scheme.
- 28 days of holiday including bank holidays, with an additional day for each year of service up to 25 days.
