Pay: £39,672 - £42,274 Basic DOE + Overtime
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 3 on 3 off shifts over a 7 day working week, on average work 14 days per month
Our client a Public services workshop business require a couple of experienced Vehicle Mechanics to keep Ambulances and special vehicles on the road at all time. Our client operates their workshop from 6am - 8pm; you will have autonomy to ensure you complete your 37.5 hours per week. This will include 2 on, 2 off, 3 on 2 off which may seem staggered working patterns but our clients Vehicle Technicians find this very useful and suits their personal life with time off; the trade off is of course working weekends or early mornings or lates etc.

Within this Fleet Response Technician role your typical duties will include:
- Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
- Vehicle Inspections
- Working on Medical Equipment & Electric Hybrid - Full training provided
- Vehicle Diagnostics & Fault Finding
- Vehicle adaptation and modification
You will ideally live within the Chertsey area or be able to travel to the Chertsey, Surrey area and have a working experience of Vans & Cars and/or be qualified to City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
