  • Salary: Competitive salary and OTE

  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30-5.00
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.30-2.00

Join a large main dealer who are looking to expand their workshop workforce! They offer different packages, dependent on your qualifications and experience. 

Our Client has an amazing opportunity for a full time Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join their busy team in Nottingham.

Duties of a Master Technician:
  • Carry out general servicing of vehicles.
  • Complete air conditioning services as and when required.
  • Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles.
  • Undertake road and ramp testing.
  • Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition.
  • Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed.
  • Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs, following manufacturer standards and guidelines to ensure reliability and safety 
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components to assess wear, damage, or required replacements 
  • Provide expert technical advice to customers when necessary, ensuring clear and professional communication 
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards, fostering trust that leads to repeat business and referrals 
  • Collaborate effectively with the service reception team and workshop control for seamless workflow and customer satisfaction 
  • Offer support and guidance to fellow Technicians in the workshop, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing 
What our Client expects of the successful Master Technician applicant:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light vehicle maintenance and repair 
  • Full valid UK driving license.
  • Valid MOT license is advantageous but not essential 
  • EV qualifications is advantageous but not essential 
  • You must own your own tools.
  • Be able to work on Head Gaskets, Timing belts, Clutches, Gearboxes Etc.
