Our client, one of the UK’s largest automotive retailers, are currently looking to recruit a Accounts Assistant to join their Finance department in Huddersfield. 

We are looking for applicants who are AAT Qualified or studying later stages and have had use of Microsoft Office suit (e.g Excel, Word, Outlook.) You must have previous accounts experience as well as being numerate and literate, and have strong administrative skills and high attention to detail whilst handling sensitive and confidential information. 

For this Accounts Assistant role you will need:
  • Full UK Driving License. 
  • Previous motor trade experience
  • Able to achieve deadlines
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Use of Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Administrative experience gained in an appropriate environment.
  • Great communication
  • Evidence of ‘Right to Work in the UK’
  • Takes ownership in all aspects of the role.
For this Accounts Assistant role you will be:
  • Manage customer and stakeholder expectations by keeping them well-informed and managing communication proactively.
  • Understand the need for honesty, diplomacy and the highest standards of ethics in all financial dealings.
  • Act within the limits of your authority and seek guidance when needed, accountable for achieving your own objectives.
  • Identify areas of personal development and growth and act on feedback to improve personal performance.
  • Support colleagues in managing all aspects of vehicle financial affairs. 
  • Support the organisation in meeting business objectives through rigorous and robust control of vehicle assets, ensuring they are managed to maximise value.
