Position:
Automotive Trade Parts Advisor
Location: Croydon
Salary: £29,000 Basic + Incentives and Bonus
Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota basis


Are you passionate about automobiles and thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused trade environment? Our client a large Trade Parts Centre are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Trade Parts Sales Advisor to join their Parts sales team in Croydon.


Our client is a leading automotive company dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality parts to their customers; this may include Crash Repair Centres, Independent Garages or other automotive centres requiring manufacturer OEM parts at trade prices.

As an Automotive Trade Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting trade customers with their parts enquiries, providing expert advice, and ensuring efficient order processing and delivery. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining strong relationships with our clients trade partners and delivering a seamless automotive parts service experience.

Key Responsibilities as a Trade Parts Advisor with our client:

  • Assist trade customers with parts enquiries both in person and over the phone
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on parts selection, compatibility, and availability
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our product range and industry developments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, fostering loyalty and satisfaction
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements of a Trade Parts Advisor with our client:

  • Previous experience in automotive parts is essential for our client
  • Strong customer service skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
  • Flexibility to work Saturday mornings on a rotational basis
