  • Location: Oldham
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, optional overtime on Saturdays (hours negotiable)
  • Salary: £35k - £40k (negotiable for the right candidate)
Our client, an independent dealer specialising in used car sales, service, and bodyshop, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a newly fitted workshop and grow within the team. The ideal Vehicle Technician will have diagnostic and workshop controller skills and experience in pre-sale service requirements.

Key Responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct diagnostic work and repairs on vehicles
  • Perform pre-sale service requirements and prepare vehicles for sale
  • Oversee and manage workshop activities
  • Work closely with the team to ensure high standards of service and repair
  • Help in the growth and development of the workshop team
The Successful Vehicle Technician will be/have:
  • Qualified and time-served Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic skills and experience in workshop management
  • Experience with pre-sale vehicle preparation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as required
