Vehicle Mechanic Required for a Manufacturer-Approved Service Centre
  • Location: Croydon
  • Salary: Up to £45k Basic DOE + £6k Bonus (pro rata based on days worked)
  • Hours:
  • Full-Time Option: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with optional rotational Saturdays.
  • Part-Time Options: Flexible schedules available for 3 or 4 days per week—enquire within for details!

Manufacturer-Approved Service Centre specialising in Vans and Fleet work. They offer flexibility for mechanics seeking either full-time or part-time opportunities.

Duties of a Vehicle Mechanic:
  • Diagnose faults and identify repair requirements.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Repair and replace faulty parts, including injectors and seals.
  • Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and safe to drive.
  • Produce accurate time estimates for jobs and write detailed service reports.
  • Work collaboratively under the guidance of the Workshop Manager.
What Our Client Expects from Their Mechanics:
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent experience (time served).
  • A full UK driving license.
  • An MOT license is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with diesel engines is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Being self sufficient - able to work and complete most mechanical jobs with minimal supervision 
  • A proactive approach and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
