  • Starting salary up to £26,000 per annum with £30,000+ annual earnings. 
  • Monday to Friday with Saturdays rota'd.

Our client, a franchise motorcycle dealership situated in the Cambridge area, are currently looking to recruit a Service Advisor for their busy workshop.

Reporting to your General Manager, as a Service Advisor you will be working in a state-of-the-art facility alongside a workshop team. You will need to be a confident relationship builder, be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their motorcycle whilst delivering a first class service, also achieving the company objectives and targets. 

The successful Service Advisor will need to be able to:
  • Take incoming customer calls, process sales, and accept payment for products and services
  • Make outgoing customer calls
  • Answer questions about motorcycle specifications
  • Up-sell to customers
  • Explain product pricing and availability
  • Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into company database
  • Process credit card payments and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Contact customers in response to correspondence or feedback
  • Investigate unfilled, misplaced, or misdirected orders and resolve customer issues as necessary
  • Maintain working knowledge of products and services and keeps current on industry developments by reading current news and training.
In order to be eligible you will ideally live in the Cambridgeshire region or within a reasonable commuting distance of Cambridge. Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate would need to have prior or present experience working as a Service Advisor or similar experience within an automotive environment and be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Overall you will have a passion motocycles and have very strong organisational skills along with IT proficiency. Liaising with manufacturers to authorise warranty repairs, and a general knowledge of automotive warranty procedures would also be advantageous but is non-essential. A UK motorcycle driving license would be highly advantageous however is non-essential.
