Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester Required in Stockport
  • Location: Stockport, Cheshire
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (42 hours per week), with Saturdays 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on a rota basis
  • Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester/Vehicle Technician to join a well-established team. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians, delivering first-class service and maintaining high industry standards.

Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester :
  • Conduct MOT tests using the latest technology
  • Carry out vehicle services in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer specifications
  • Perform additional repairs as authorised by customers
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Test drive customer vehicles to verify that all faults have been resolved
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed to a high standard
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester :
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the motor industry (brand or non-brand) is essential
  • A full, valid UK driving licence
  • Motivated and capable of working as part of a team, with an eagerness to learn and grow
  • Ability to work to the highest standards and attention to detail
  • While brand experience is desirable, it is not essential, as brand accreditation training will be provided
