- Location: Manchester
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Salary: Basic salary from £40,000 -- OTE up to £52,000 (includes site bonus, based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities for an MET Technician:
- Dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles according to repair estimates and procedures.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure every job is completed to the highest standard.
- Report any deviations from the estimate or method to the estimator immediately.
- Advise the Bodyshop Team Leader on any additional work needed during repairs.
- Supervise and mentor non-qualified technicians, ensuring all jobs are completed professionally.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure all safety items/materials are fit for use.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as an MET Technician is essential.
- ATA accreditation is preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of stripping, rebuilding, and repairing vehicles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and supervise non-qualified staff.
- Full UK driving license required.
- Basic salary from £40,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
- OTE up to £52,000 (salary + bonus).
