We are currently recruiting a Workshop Manager / Senior Vehicle Technician for our award winning Independent Garage in High Wycombe. This is an amazing opportunity for a Senior / Master Vehicle Technician who is looking to progress in their career and take a step up into management whilst also still enjoy being hands on, working for a a well-established, family run garage. 

They are looking for a great team player, hard-working, and motivated to make the most out of their career. EV Level 3 / 4 Qualifications and an MOT Licence is advantages however it is not essential.

Our Client is offering the successful Workshop Manager / Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Up To £60,000 Basic Salary + 10% Bonus
  • Monday To Friday 8am - 5.30pm / No Weekends

Duties of a Workshop Manager / Senior Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Managing the workshop of 6 Technicians and allocating jobs
  • Offer technical advice and support to your colleagues
  • Ensuring the workshop team has a daily ‘huddle’ that reflects on the previous day’s work, carry over jobs and looks forward to the days schedule.
  • Carrying out Diagnostics
  • You are a hands-on technician, with a 50% productivity jobs schedule, whilst ensuring the day-to-day operation of a busy, 7 bay workshop is maintained to the highest possible standards.
To be considered for this role, you must:
  • Previous experience running a workshop
  • Proven Senior / Master Technician status with EV Qualifications & MOT Licence advantageous
  • Confident and capable of carrying out a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair 
  • Offer support and help to your colleagues 
  • Able to provide technical advice and carry out vehicle maintenance and repair work, in accordance with technical procedures
  • Full UK Driving Licence
