  • Salary: Flexible, Depending on Experience
  • Experienced Technicians: Up to £32,000
  • Trainee: Starting at minimum wage, with progression
Our client, a well-established, family-run Motorhome Sales & Service Business, is looking for a Habitation Technician and a Trainee Habitation Technician to join their friendly team in Canterbury, Kent.

What is a Habitation Technician? A Habitation Technician focuses on the living space inside a motorhome—ensuring the water, gas, and electrical systems are working correctly. Unlike traditional vehicle technicians, this role is ideal for hands-on individuals with a strong DIY background or experience in carpentry, electrics, plumbing, or similar trades.

Key Responsibilities as a Habitation Technician:
  • Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) – ensuring all gas, water, and electrical systems function properly
  • Internal repairs, woodwork, and fitting accessories (bike racks, awnings, TV aerials, solar panels)
  • Heating system diagnosis and repairs
  • Warranty and general servicing tasks
What We’re Looking For from a Habitation Technician:
  • A good attitude and willingness to muck in as part of a team
  • Hands-on experience in DIY, carpentry, electrics, plumbing, or a similar trade
  • No previous motorhome experience needed – training provided!
  • A reliable team player with strong attention to detail
