  • Location: Aldershot, Hampshire
  • Salary: Up to £38,000 Basic + £41,000 OTE (experience-dependent)
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with Saturdays on a 1-in-2 rota (morning shifts only).

We are currently looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join our client’s well-established and expanding Service Department in the Aldershot area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team within a thriving independent garage, known for its exceptional customer service and investment in staff development.

Your responsibilities as an MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT Tests on class 4, 5, and 7 vehicles in line with DVSA standards.
  • Accurately diagnose and address any issues identified during MOT testing.
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring all testing tools and machinery are in good working order.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workplace.
What we are looking For in an MOT Tester:
  • Qualifications: You must hold a valid MOT Tester license and be fully certified to conduct MOTs on class 4, 5, and 7 vehicles.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, a strong technical mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-Focused: A professional and approachable attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
