Vehicle Paint Sprayer required in Chepstow.
  • Basic salary up to £29,500 per annum.
  • Access to a throughput bonus scheme working out at £4,200+ per annum. 
  • Working hours are on a 2 weekly rota. Monday to Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, then Monday to Thursday 2:00pm-12:00pm (Enjoy having every Friday and weekend off!)
  • There is a shift allowance for the evening shift of 15% - The option to work the late shift permanently is available, providing a much larger earning potential! 
Our client, an award-winning dealer group's head office based in the Chepstow region, is currently looking to recruit multiple Vehicle SMART Repair Technicians/Paint Sprayers to join their business. 

Report to the Bodyshop Manager and working as part of a team, your key responsibilities will include: 
  • Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures.
  • Meeting acceptable safety and quality standards.
  • Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
  • Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs.
  • Seek clarification from the Workshop Controller if a work order is not clear or seems incorrect.
  • Complete assigned jobs within the estimated repair/paint times.
  • Safeguard the customer’s vehicle and its contents while in the workshop.
  • Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
  • Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
To be eligible, you will need to have previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician/Paint Sprayer or alternately have relevant transferable automotive accident repair experience.

Overall you will be a team player, have strong communication skills, be capable of working towards targets/KPIs, and be able to maintain high standards of housekeeping. A UK driving licence with minimal points is also essential.
