- Starting salary will be circa £28,000-29,750 pending which shift pattern.
- Service plan bonus scheme available which is circa £400-500 per month.
- 4 days per week, 40 hours, 7:30am-6:00pm. Monday to Thursday.
- 5-day week available for 42.5 hours, 8:00am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside a team of two other Vehicle Service Advisors, you will need to be a confident relationship builder and be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle whilst delivering a first-class service, also achieving the company objectives and targets. You will greet customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for associated repair work, have extensive liaison with the workshop to chase work in progress, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed.
The successful candidate would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Strong organisational skills along with IT literacy (any experience with Kerridge/ADP preferable) would be of high priority. Due to the nature of this role, recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar role is required. Liaising with the vehicle manufacturer to authorise warranty repairs and a general knowledge of warranty procedures would be advantageous but is not essential. A UK driving license with minimal points is essential though.
