Reporting to the Sales Manager and working with a small friendly team in state-of-the-art working conditions, your initial responsibilities shall include meeting and greeting customers into the showroom, selling new and used stock, discussing add-on products with customers who have just purchased a vehicle; such as Paint Protection, GAP and service plans, assisting with used car stock control including photography and advertisement, showroom maintenance, shadowing/assisting the sales team with the sales of cars if not experienced, and ad-hoc associated administration duties.
To be eligible you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Pontypridd and have a UK driving license with minimum points. As mentioned, no prior car sales experience is required however you shall have experience in a customer service/sales-orientated role, be educated to grade C/4 or above in GCSE Maths and English, have a charismatic and approachable personality, be IT literate with a methodical and organised approach to your work, be able to pay attention to detail as well as being willing and eager to learn, and have an overall interest in the automotive industry and anything four wheels. Our client is also happy to consider applications from well-experienced and weathered Sales Executives due to requiring 2 members of staff.
