Vehicle Technician required near Shipston-on-Stour.
  • SALARY:  Between £38-48,000 per annum pending experience.
  • HOURS: 8:00am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.

Our client, an independent family-run, community-focussed automotive service centre based to the east of Shipston-on-Stour, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their business.

Reporting to the Garage Manager and working as part of a friendly team, as a Vehicle Technician your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer's vehicles to a high standard. You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Garage Manager as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will need to ensure that Health & Safety, as well as work quality procedures relating to the task at hand, are always adhered to. 

To be eligible an IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be beneficial to our client however this is not essential as our client is very open to candidates with no qualifications but several years strong "time served" experience as a Vehicle Technician. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Candidates with a valid class 4 MOT testing license would be highly advantageous however this is non-essential as training for this can be provided.
