Light Commercial Vehicle Technician Required in Chelmsford.

Our client, a rapidly growing Franchised Dealership, is a leading provider of vehicle maintenance and repair services, specialising in Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). They pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. As part of their growth, they are looking for a skilled and dedicated LCV Technician to join their dynamic team.

As an LCV Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on light commercial vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients' vehicles are running safely and efficiently, while also providing excellent customer service.

  • Basic Salary of £34,000 per annum with OTE potentials of £50,000 per annum!

*New Technicians are eligible for welcome bonuses totalling £2,500 - £1,000 sign-on bonus payable after 30 days of employment, a further £500 after 90 days, and a final payment of £1000 after 6 months*

The successful candidate in this role will have previous Main Car Dealership experience as well as the ability to work effectively on commercial vehicles and hold a level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent. A thorough understanding of vehicle safety standards and guidelines as well as Strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work is key for this position along with bringing a driven and energetic character into the workshop.

  • Conduct servicing and maintenance on a range of light commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair faults using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs to high standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
