  • Basic Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Flexible depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
  • Medium sized workshop - 5 ramps. 
  • Working mainly on Cars and Vans
Our client is a well-established independent garage with a strong reputation for high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs.

Having served the Beds and Bucks region since the 1980s, they have built a loyal customer base and continue to invest in their workshop. With a well-maintained facility and a team of skilled technicians, they are now seeking a dedicated Workshop Manager to lead their operation.

Responsibilities of a Workshop Manager As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and excellent customer service.

Your key duties as a Workshop Manager will include:
  • Managing the workshop team and workflow
  • Handling customer queries and providing top-notch service
  • Carrying out MOTs and assisting with repairs when needed
  • Processing invoices and managing workshop purchasing
  • Answering calls and liaising with suppliers and customers
  • Ensuring a smooth and professional workshop operation
Requirements for this Workshop Manager role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on workshop experience
  • Ideally an MOT Testing qualification (not essential but preferred)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to manage a busy workshop effectively
  • Experience handling invoices and purchasing
  • A trustworthy and reliable work ethic
