Our client, a well established Accident Repair Centre is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Vehicle Mechanic to join their team in Scunthorpe. With one of the best pay rates and bonus package schemes in the area, alongside working for a renowned company. Now is the time to apply! 

The ideal candidate will have strong skills within Mechanical and Electrical repairs, so this would suit someone who has previous working experience as an MET Technician or MET Fitter. 

  Our client is offering the successful Vehicle Mechanic:
  • Basic Salary up to £45,000
  • OTE of £55,000
  • Monday - Friday only role

Duties of a Vehicle Mechanic:

  • Carry out a full range of mechanical work on allocated jobs.
  • Dismantling, fault-finding & diagnostic work.
  • Re-assembly with new parts as required.
  • Inspections and testing.
  • To carry-out road testing of vehicles when required in a safe and legal way as instructed, checking for road worthiness.
What our Client expects of their Vehicle Mechanic:
  • Fully skilled Mechanic capable of a full range of repair jobs.
  • Diagnostic experience.
  • Experience of working in a bodyshop.
  • ATA would be advantageous.
  • Level 3 qualification required.
