Service Manager for a Family Run Car Garage in Wimbledon

Our client a well-established family-run car garage located in Wimbledon, looking for a dedicated and experienced Motor Trade Service Manager to join their team. If you have a passion and knowledge for the automotive industry and thrive in a customer-focused environment, our clients want to hear from you!

Salary: Up to £45k Basic DOE
Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday + Saturday mornings on a rotational basis

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage, motivate, and lead the service team to achieve performance targets and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement service policies and procedures to improve workflow and productivity.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance customer service.
  • Monitor service department performance through key metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using automotive service software and systems.
  • A valid UK driving license.
